youth entrepreneurship project in Tanzania. This project will aim to increase economic opportunities :
for youth in agriculture to increase their incomes through entrepreneurship, employability, leadership, :
workforce readiness, and life skills obtained through formal and non-formal education and training
organizations. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives
of people around the world. Please note that all positions are subject to program award. We are
seeking mid- and senior-level candidates in the following fields:
Long and Short Term Specialists
• Workforce development
• Gender and youth empowerment
• Training and capacity building (with a focus on youth preferred)
• Private sector partnerships (with a focus on agriculture)
Livelihoods development
• . Entrepreneurship skills development specialist
• Market systems development
• Business development services (with a -focus on agribusiness)
• Monitoring and evaluation
Qualifications •
• Degree required in agriculture, business, economics, public policy, education, or relevant to the
position applied to; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience
• Proven track record in successful implementation of technical assignments and proven
managerial/supervisory experience
• Prior experience with USAID highly preferred
• Experience working collaboratively with the government of Tanzania, international donors, and
local organizations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English is required.
