Curriculum Coordinator Trainee (Special Needs Education: Hearing Impairment) - 1 Vacancy
(a) Desired Qualifications
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in education or related field in the candidate's subject of specialization.or equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution. In addition, the candidate must be eligible for registration as a technical teacher by virtue of his/her qualifications.
(b) Main Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Teaches up to NTA Level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);
(ii) Develops and tries out school and college curricula;
(iii) Conducts in-service courses and seminars for tutors and teachers;
(iv) Participates in research, monitoring and evaluation of curricula and educational activities;
(v) Participates in the provision of consulta,ncy services in education under supervision;
(vi) Writes academic papers as well as teaching and learning materials in the area of specialisation; and .
(vii) Performs any other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
